Read moreThe Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has announced that the Seward County Lady Saints are on its list of winners for the 2009-10 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll. This award, given in NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA and Junior College/Community College, awards teams throughout the nation that carry the highest grade point averages (GPA) for the entire season based on the nomination submitted by WBCA-member head coaches.

Hannah Rotolo Becomes Second Lady Saint Invited to NJCAA All-Star Event

Read moreSeward County sophomore point guard Hannah Rotolo has become the second Lady Saint to be selected for the 2010 NJCAA All-Star Event scheduled for mid July in Pensacola, Florida.  Rotolo, the Liberal native will head down to the Sunshine State to compete against the best players in the country on July 9th when the teams will practice before playing in two games each on July 10th and 11th. Rotolo joins Toby Wynn and the Lady Saints after playing her freshman season at Barton County last year.   Rotolo was one of the top players for the Cougars averaging 8.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game while leading the team with 98 assists and 97 steals.

Kendra Spresser Selected For NJCAA All-Star Event

Read moreSeward County Lady Saints Sophomore guard Kendra Spresser has been selected to play in the 2010 NJCAA All-Star Event slated for Mid July in Pensacola, Florida.  The event starts on July 9th when Spresser and other invitees will participate in two practices before participating in two games on both the 10th and the 11th.
