
This morning the Seward County Saints 2010 NJCAA National Tournament came to a close after a very successful week in Plano, Texas. Seward will finish 10
th at this year’s National Tournament after accumulating 20 total points on the week after a pair of consolation bracket wins this morning. On Wednesday the Saints had limited action on the court but did have some success in consolation bracket matches. Nathan Nelmes beat Corey Arnold of Kaskaskia College easily 6-1, 6-0 in the consolation semis and early this morning dispatched of Daniel Little of Gadsden State 6-2, 6-2 in the final to bring home the consolation bracket championship. In #4 singles, Christian Romanzini worked his way into the round of 8 Wednesday morning but lost 6-2, 6-2 to Matt Davis of Collin to finish in a 5
th place tie as his tournament came to an end. After dropping his first match of the tournament Eduardo Munoz made a stand to play as long as he could in the consolation bracket and he did just that winning Wednesday 6-1, 6-1 over Kaleb Bone of Kaskaskia in the semifinals and then defeating Jeremy Falls of Itawamba CC in straight sets Thursday morning to capture the championship.
